Hi everyone, Welcome to my Blog. My name is Traci and I am very focused on personal growth and professional development. I have been a nurse for 23 years and have worked in a leadership and education capacity for the past 13 years. I am a mother of 2 and a wife to the most amazing woman I have ever known.

I feel that everyone has the potential to learn and grow, including myself. I am a work in progress and wish to share my knowledge and experience with you. I also want to learn from you. Everyone has had different experiences, and I love learning about other’s circumstances.

I chose the name Rise Up for my site because it means a lot to me. Rise up- from the ashes of childhood or previous traumas. Rise up- from the repression of others. I have learned that not everyone will like me or agree with me. Not everyone can give you what you need. Not everyone has an open mind. You are in control of you and your reactions. You are in control of your choices, actions, and successes. No one else can tell you that you can’t do something or won’t succeed. Rise up- continue to grow and learn. To stand tall, to spread your wings and fly. To achieve. To prove your worth. To awaken. To rebel. To be happy. Whatever resonates with you in your life journey.
